The Battlefield at Shangri-La
Afton, OK
Upon opening in 2023, The Battlefield was awarded with multiple regional and national awards. It was recognized as the 14th best short course in the United States and voted the amenity of year in the State of Oklahoma. The course was constructed on 80 acres of rugged terrain with over 100 feet of elevation change. A creek bisects the site and large specimen trees are scattered throughout the property. The 18 hole par 3 Battlefield at Shangri-La complements the existing 27-hole course at this renowned resort. Atkinson Design Group collaborated on this project with Tom Clark.
